π° Financial Literacy Foundations - March '26
Program Overview
In this 4-week hands-on program, students build a strong foundation in money smarts, basic economics, and entrepreneurship β learning how money, business, and the community work in everyday life. Through interactive games, real-world activities, and creative projects, kids explore earning, saving, budgeting, spending, giving, and the basics of running a business.
Theyβll also learn to:
Distinguish needs vs. wants
Understand goods vs. services and how businesses meet community needs
Use everyday financial tools like piggy banks, wallets, and bank accounts
Understand digital payments safely, including Venmo and Apple Pay (kid-friendly versions)
Learn the differences between debit and credit cards and how responsible money management works
Make practical decisions about how to grow, spend, and share their money
Workshops are held in Irvine, CA, and are designed to make learning about money, business, and economics fun, engaging, and practical, so students leave with skills and habits they can use immediately in their daily lives.
Program Pricing:
The enrollment fee covers all sessions, worksheets, and take-home activities for family practice and continued learning.
